Michael is an abstract expressionist painter working with acrylic on canvas.

He relocated with his family from Chicago to Boise in 2017.  He has been an active member of the Boise art community.

His work has been shown in galleries throughout the Treasure Valley, currently at the International Gallery of Fine Art. Events in which he has participated include Art and Roses, Hyde Park festival, and Gallery 55, in McCall. Twice featured as the Boise Weekly cover artist.

Painting provides an opportunity to connect to, express, and process my emotions, feelings, and thoughts. Painting helps with mental health management.

Michael and Popkanon collaborates on their 2023 release ‘Lets Paint Some Walls’ on a marketing collaboration level. Michael has also painted the cover for the song!
